Fashion Post: Of Tribal and Studs

Tribal print and stud is two of my major loves now! The tribal trend appeared on the fashion radar for several seasons last year and is back with a bang for Spring/Summer 2012. The trend consists of strong, graphic prints combined with warm, earthy tones and natural accents — source.

I've always wanted to get myself a tribal print top but I never found one that I like really like. I'm so happy when I found out that Whitesoot added a few pieces of tribal printed tops in their collection this month! So I chose one for my August complimentary piece without any hesitation. Last Friday, I had this random mini 'dress up-and-shoot' session with Joeann and Valerie just for fun (: and I decided to wear the tribal printed top, matching it with jeans and denim studded shorts to have two different looks!

Learning to walk in those killer heels is ain't easy! 

To be safe, you can pair your tribal top with something basic and simple. Just a pairs of jeans and minimal accessories will do to complete the look (: 

Besides pairing it with jeans, I tried pairing it with my newly bought studded denim shorts as well. I flipped through this month issue of Vivi Mag the other day and saw studded denim shorts was being featured in it. Whether you're a total prepster or a rock 'n roll diva, you can't deny the fact that studs are a must-have this season. It adds an edgy effect and attitude to my casual outfit :D Studs are a simple yet dramatic way to change your usual wardrobe. Besides shorts or pants, you can also mix and match your tribal top with a high-lo skirt! Too bad I didn't bring it along the other day T__T maybe I'll have that combination for my #ootd some other day. On a side note, I'm planning to get something with galaxy printed after this! :D
