Glam Up with GlamTags!

Fashion Post: Galaxified September

I guess you would have realized that Galaxy print has been trending almost everywhere right now including the blogosphere, unless you've been in outer space. From Galaxy printed leggings, dresses to heels, the trend has crossed over to nails too; which you can find tons of tutorial videos on youtube. I've been wanting to get a piece of galaxy print top ever since it started trending and I'm so happy when Whitesoot brought in a few pieces with galaxy print! I picked the chiffon galaxy print vest without any hesitation and place my order.  Next thing I knew, it arrived at my doorstep in less than 24 hours (Y)

Fashion Post: Of Tribal and Studs

Tribal print and stud is two of my major loves now! The tribal trend appeared on the fashion radar for several seasons last year and is back with a bang for Spring/Summer 2012. The trend consists of strong, graphic prints combined with warm, earthy tones and natural accents — source.

I've always wanted to get myself a tribal print top but I never found one that I like really like. I'm so happy when I found out that Whitesoot added a few pieces of tribal printed tops in their collection this month! So I chose one for my August complimentary piece without any hesitation. Last Friday, I had this random mini 'dress up-and-shoot' session with Joeann and Valerie just for fun (: and I decided to wear the tribal printed top, matching it with jeans and denim studded shorts to have two different looks!

I flipped through this month issue of Vivi Mag the other day and saw studded denim shorts was being featured in it. Whether you're a total prepster or a rock 'n roll diva, you can't deny the fact that studs are a must-have this season. It adds an edgy effect and attitude to my casual outfit :D Studs are a simple yet dramatic way to change your usual wardrobe. Flightless Bird

Hello mello and gosh it's already the last day of May! Remember the post I wrote about Friendly Fashion? I was beyond thrilled to receive all the items last week, all thanks to the members who are super efficient (:

In the end, I chose the SUPRÉ HOLE IN THE BACK TOP and match it with the POLKA DOTS HIGH WASTED PANTS. How sweet of one of the members that made an effort in the packaging as well, look at the star printed plastic, heart shape stickers and even a thank you note!
