My very first part time job

Having a part time job is actually the last thing I'd do in my list during my sem break but here I am, having a job now, my first ever job. How random *smirks* I was sort of surprised when my parents are really supportive this time, Mum never approved me in getting any job. Mum actually asked me to get a job on the day I reached home. Not putting any high hopes, I called up my current boss on Monday to ask about the job and I got it right away, met my lady boss that night as well and I started working the very next day. Looking at the long hours that I am required to work, I was kinda reluctant at first but instead of lazing around at home doing nothing, I told myself there's no harm giving it a try. I'm a big girl now *pat self*

So you must be wondering what am I working as? I'd say nothing illegal HAHA

#1. The company I'm working for; their official website here, and FB page, here.
Their main HQ is in Wangsa Maju, Setapak and they have over 20 branches in West Msia but I've never encounter them before in KL! Opening soon in Miri and Kuching as well :O
#2. Any idea yet?

#3. The menu (:

#4. Self explanatory

#5. The fridge that keeps most of the fruit sherbets
#6. Flavours; Red plum, Honeydew, Apricot, Dragon Fruit, Lime (Clockwise)

#7. Durian, Strawberry, Yam, Passion Fruit, Soursop, Chocolate (Clockwise)

#8. Red bean (L), Watermelon (R), and Mango.

#9. Haaa yes, that's me! I looked even rounder with the cap on T___T

#10. This is what I'm up to when there's no customers, few more chapters to go.

#11. Wee just got myself a twin! Matching colour bottle =.=''

#12. My striking apple green uniform, thank goodness it's not a must to wear it everyday.

#13. Teehee shop assistant/retailer in action! (;
I seriously have no idea what kind of job is my job called as cause I pretty much do everything. I'm currently on fulltime basis, where I work everyday *cries* 9 hours during weekdays, 12 hours during weekends! By the time I'm home, I'll be like a dead pile of poop, exhausted and sleepy already. Besides that, everything is so far so good, no cranky customers too. All I need to do is to wait for customers to come, so readers you know what to do! Come over and buy fruit sherbets from me(!!), but sorry ah no discount :P

Pros: I get to earn my own bucks, INDEPENDENTLY! *will be looking forward to the last day of every month now* and the first thing I'll do with my salary is to treat my family a meal :DDD
Cons: No more quality time with the family, sucks big time. Withdrawal from the cyber world.

#14. And oh, this place is still hiring. So just ring up the number if you're interested :D
So bear with me cause I guess I'll be on a hiatus for a period of time, unless I have interesting stuff to blog about, which I think it would be unlikely to happen.

Goodnight, another 12 hours to go tomorrow! *crashes on bed*

In case you're unaware,

I've struck out another item on my wishlist; yes my very first part time job! For the entire 19 years of my life, I've never work before, not sure if that's something to be proud of. So that pretty much explains me missing in action in the cyber world lately, especially twitter. I bet no one would even realised that I've been missing pfft

It's only been 3 days but I'm feeling tired already. Promise to blog about my work soon.

Restoran Yang Mooi

... which is famous for its beef noodles, beef balls and pork balls (Y) This is definitely an outdated post, where I had my lunch here during my clinical placement in Ampang last month.

This shop is located just beside Restoran Kin Kin that sells chili pan mee and opposite Pandan Jaya Police Station.

For my first visit, I ordered beef noodles soup with beef and additional beef balls, this bowl of noodles cost me RM6.50 which I think it's pretty worth it cause they were quite generous with the amount of beef and the four pieces of beef balls. The soup was a tad oily and salty as well, overloaded MSG I suppose. The beef was tender and okay, nothing to shout about while the beef balls are just fanstamic. I'd have order another bowl of them!

The chili sauce that goes well with the beef and beef balls!!

So I had the dry noodle with beef and beef balls during my second visit. Couldn't resist those balls YUMSSSSS and the minced meat was really finely minced and it smells so good! This cost me RM6.50 as well.

I still prefer the beef noodle soup but the beef balls are the must have, no matter what noodles you're ordering. Even Joeann liked it too (:

I'm currently craving for beef noodles, particularly this one! HOW NOW BROWN COW?

The making of J Summer Fashion Show official poster!

Date: Thursday 19 May 2011

Time: 10am - 4pm

Venue: Savoy London

Team: J Model Management

The concept of J Summer Fashion Show official poster was the young, powerful, and beautiful generation standing out from the crowd. J Models selected the most talented team of creatives who put their tools in to full use.

Photographer: Thomas Woland

J Model: Jessica Minh Anh & Will Wilton

Designer: Paul Costelloe

Makeup artist: Jo Sugar

Hair stylist: Kieron Lavine

Graphic designer: Chris Christodoulou

Video Producer: Andrew Evans @ Black Cat Video

J Coordinators: Anna & Diana

THE SET

Where else to capture a high society shot than against the stunning and exceptionally crafted wall of the Lancaster Ballroom. Check out the set below

HAIR & MAKEUP

CONCEPT 1: THE MODELS

Milan photographer Thomas, who recently shot the cover of Playboy magazine, shot J model Jessica Minh Anh andWill Wilton standing still amongst all the chaos of the hair and makeup. Celebrity makeup artist Jo Sugar and hair stylist Kieron Lavine produced the high society and luxurious look on both models while following the colour trend of the season.

Jessica and Will had to stand very still while the coordinators and makeup artist run around to create the speedy motion, which was nicely captured in the powerful lights. They were shot seperately and the images were put together afterwards in post production. "I was trying not to laugh as everyone was running round. We did have such a great time and the team worked so well together. We achieved what we planned initially in just 30 minutes" said Jessica. Will added "Thomas kept saying BE DEAD, BE DEAD and I guess we were as dead as anyone could ever be! Amazing team and a fantastic venue. What more could you ask for!"

The final poster is yet another outstanding creation by J models' favourite graphic designer Chris Christodoulou. Chris put together a few versions of the poster as you can see below

CONCEPT 2: THE DOLLS

These pretty and expensive dolls were wearing Paul Costelloe's signature pieces for AW2011. Jessica and Will were shot both seperately and together.

The idea is to show an innocent side of the high society! Is there actually one? "I put Jessica's hair up as we wanted to show off the beautiful details of the collar of her dress. The bun also made her look cute like a little doll" said Kieron "Will's hair was done in the classic way and it definitely suited him"

PROMO VIDEO

The promo video, which was shot by Black Cat Video's cameraman Andrew Evans, will be out next week! It'll show you a sneakpeak of the famous Lancaster Ballroom, where the Hollywood fairy tail Notting Hill was filmed, as well as the buzz of behind the scene shoot!

AND HERE IS THE FINAL POSTER
