The Royal Malaysian Traditional Spa

Having a tough week at work or Uni? In dire need of some pampering and relaxing session? The Royal Malaysian Traditional Spa would definitely do you good at times like this.

Thanks to ILoveDiscounts that I get to unwind myself from head to toe with 3 hours of complete spa experience fit for royalty last Sunday #likeaprincessboss What a good way to kick start my one week holiday!

Frankly speaking, I've never been to a spa in my entire life so I was quite nervous at first on how the whole session is going to be like. I reached there earlier before my appointment time yet due to some unforeseen circumstances, my session started 30 minutes later.
The Reception Area
The Royal Malaysian Traditional Spa by ReNeau is inspired by the pampering of Malaysian's traditional treatments. ReNeau in other words means rejuvenate.— http://reneauspa.com/
Luxurious and cosy ambiance that gives peace of mind.

The Royal Malaysian Traditional Spa by Reneau uses only the HIGHEST QUALITY range of spa products, all of which have been formulated NATURALLY FREE of artificial colouring, active chemicals, hydroquinone (which has been banned by the AFDA - American Food and Drug Administration), and preservatives.

Instead, their products are jammed pack full of natural goodness, such as AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids), that does wonders for your skin. AHA is derived organically from a whole variety of fruits that include sugarcane, oats, apricots, papayas, mandarin oranges, lemons, grapes and apples.
Facial products and cosmetics.
Before my session started, I was asked to changed into bath robe (disposable panties is provided) and  keep my belongings in a locker specially for customers' use. Now let the heavenly journey begins! My session started off with 15 mins of full body scrub; great way to keep your skin healthy and smoother through exfoliation. The thorough body scrub is combined with a short massage which makes it even relaxing.
After the body scrub, I headed upstairs and disrobe myself for another 15 minutes of Sauna to sweat out all the toxins in my body. The good thing about having sauna at ReNeau  is that you get to have your own Sauna cubicle; more privacy. Yet for those who has claustrophobia or nyctophobia or even thermophobia, this may not be a good idea :P cause you will be undergoing the sauna in the dark with music accompanying you throughout. Never knew that a short period of 15 minutes can get me sweat soaked.

After my Sauna, I had my luxurious foot spa that includes aromatic foot soak, foot scrub and light foot massage.
Living room with plasma TV and comfy sofas  to sit on.

After the hot sauna treatment, I was really hoping to have my feet soak in icy cold water but boy I was wrong, the  water was boiling hot! It was literally burning my skin but I believe there must be a therapeutic benefit.

Look at my tomato red feet! T__T but it was all worth it.
Then, my feet was dried properly before the best part of the foot spa; THE FOOT SCRUB(!) although it was a bit ticklish. I've been dying to have one, my feet definitely deserve this pampering for all the burden and anxiety that has been bear all these while. The foot scrub not only help to exfoliate dead skins on the entire plantar surface on my foot but it relieves my cracked heels and dry calluses as well. Till today, my feet are still softer than before. Trust me, I can feel that my happy feet are thanking me <3 I should definitely go for foot spa once in a while after this.

After the body scrub and sauna, I definitely need to have a shower before moving on the next treatment. Body shampoo and clean towel are provided and the shower room was clean. No time limit for the shower so you can take your own sweet time until you think you're fully squeaky clean (:
Hello, that's me in the oversized bath robe and a really huge shower head. You can have either cold or warm water for shower (:

After the shower, I then had my one hour full body massage (literally from head to toe) which was soothing that I almost feel asleep. It really promotes relaxation and helps to relieve my muscular tension especially at my neck and shoulder region. My masseur was really good as she varies the amount forces according to the different areas of the body with the kneading, pounding, deep friction massage and stretching techniques.

Last but not least, I then had my facial lifting treatment to refresh my tired facial skin who is sick of having bad hairface day HAHA The facial lifting treatments includes basic facial (facial wash with cleansing soap, vitamin B complex foam cleanser, steaming and pimples removal with toner applied after that) and lifting. I love the fact that my masseur was really gentle in handling my face throughout the treatment.
The equipment and products used during facial lifting treatment.

That pretty much round off my 3 hours of royal malaysian traditional spa full body pampering session that fits for a queen :P  Too much of a good thing can be wonderful. After the 3 hours of non stop pampering, I feel rejuvenated and refreshed, definitely ready for my Malacca trip. It was overall satisfying for my virgin experience of spa session, in fact way better than my expectation yet I think that their management and service (communication and interaction skills between customers) could be even better.
That's my masseur on the left - Rina and another staff from ReNeau.

At The Royal Malaysian Traditional Spa, they offers a wide range of facial and body treatments and many other more services like waxing, eye brow shaping, ear candling, jacuzzi, and even manicure and pedicure at reasonable and affordable prices.

J Model Management makes history with J Autumn Fashion Show on London Tower Bridge

At 8pm on the 19th October 2011, J Model Management's young director Jessica Minh Anh made history when she turned England’s iconic London Tower Bridge into the world's newest catwalk. The 61 meter long walkway, 44 metres above the River Thames, was graced by 15 exclusive collections of top designers from five different continents. The grand show was by far a global fashion phenomenon of the decade.

"Despite all the technical challenges on the walkways and the short time frame to set everything up, the show went amazingly well. Absolutely incredible!" said Lucy Kite from ITV Central. The high profile guests, including ambassadors from 15 different countries, director of sponsorship and operation of London 2012 Alan Williams, buying directors from major department stores like John Lewis, Asos, Anthropologie, etc, all the designers in the show, and the international press from Russia, Georgia, Netherland, China, and Vietnam, enjoyed a glamorous red carpet entrance and a special drink and canapĂ© reception prepared by a team of the world master chefs right after the show.

PAUL COSTELLOE (IRELAND)
This is the 3rd time Paul Costelloe showcased his collection at J Model Management's fashion show. The British fashion leader is obviously pleased with the exclusivity and high standard of J catwalks.
AVTANDIL (GEORGIA)
Georgian designer Avtandil brought diversity to the catwalk with a brand new collection inspired by Leni Riefenstahl’s “Africa”. Blended bright colours, underlined feminine silhouette and one-of-a-kind details are the main characteristics of the collection. Avtandil has succeeded in expressing the fascination of Africa in a completely new manner.
MS. COUTURE (AUSTRALIA)
Ms Couture’s collection from Australia transformed J models into confectionary flavoured goddesses, encased in a colour palette of mouth-watering sorbet tones including lemon, mint, pink, lilac and ice blue. The fabrics used are as soft as fairy floss, corsets are structured like chocolate topping and the trims are like the fine, delectable craftsmanship employed by old world Venetian artisans.
XO FASHION STUDIO (RUSSIA)
XO Fashion Studio’s bold coloured pattern is created from geometrical forms and adapted to the female body. The duo behind these exquisite creations truly reflects the aesthetics of 21st century fashion design.
NABRMAN (DUBAI)
Nabrman all the way from Dubai brought to the show a youthfulness and energetic collection which mixed black with bright colours and combined with luxurious fabrics, inspired by details in nature, such as intricate laser cutting in the form of flowers.
VO VIET CHUNG (VIETNAM)
Inspired by the James Cameron's Avatar movie, Vietnamese designer Vo Viet Chung took the audience on a journey to a mysterious and colourful planet in a wild jungle, which is inhabited by wild creatures and plants.
BETTIE PAGE (AMERICA)
American brand Bettie Page brought back the 50s with nipped in waists, full net underskirts and vibrant colours.
MAICCO (GEORGIA)
Maicco is yet again the one to bring a very distinguished collection by its bright colours and the same time the simplicity for this season. The original details create the elegance. The three-layered green dress accompanied by a pair of suede knee high red boots and a violin necklace worn by Jessica Minh Anh was definitely the showstopper.
RAZU MIKHINA (RUSSIA)
Razu Mikhina's collection from Russia showed some clear fascination with traditional homeland materials, i.e. Russian linen lace and ribbons, which are traditionally used in folk costumes rendered into a updated hippy style. The signature piece - rainbow, floor-sweeping dress - is an effortless masterpiece of hundreds of different patterned ribbons mixed into dramatic multi-coloured combination.
PAOLITA (GREECE) & HAMMAMAS (ENGLAND)
Greek luxury swimwear label Paolita showcased an array of colourful printed swimwear, this included a playful monokini perfectly fitting for S/S 12
PAM & ARCH LONDON (ENGLAND)
These ready-wear outfits from London are to die for.
INA SOLTANI (AMERICA)
LA designer Ina Soltani's mystique collection was full of Hollywood glamour and showed expert craftsmanship in diamond-studded leather.
PAUSE CAFE (FRANCE)
French brand Pause Café brought a perfect selection of woolen fabrics and patchwork details for a stylish woman with character.
ADDY VAN DEN KROMMENACKER (NETHERLANDS)
Dutch celebrity designer, Addy Van Den Krommenacker, showcased his latest collection of outstanding evening gowns with trains ranging from sweeping to royal length. The luxurious fabrics, opulent beading and sequin detailing created the most elegant way to finish the show.
ACCESSORY BRANDS: TRESOR PARIS, SHOE DEVOTION, BEAU & ARROW (ENGLAND)
The sparkeling bracelets and necklaces from Tresor Paris, the combination of oustanding high heels, boots, and wedges from Shoe Devotion, and the authentic jewellery sets from Beau & Arrow accompanying all the collections definitely beautified the catwalk.

The event was supported by Sassoon Salon, Mondo Hospitality, Montegrappa Italia, TechSense, Gymbox, London Makeup Academy, Fridja, Muscari Whites, Plus Display UK, Print & Packaging Solutions, Werther's, Warsteiner, Aqua Burst, Line & Glow, Glaceau Water, Grange Hotels, and The Leonard Hotel besides many other partners.

"I am already planning the next big thing for 2012: a revolutionary fashion show that breaks international boundaries. I want to show the world all the incredible things that the young generation can do" said Jessica Minh Anh. For more details, visit www.jmodelmanagement.co.ukand www.facebook.com/jmodelmanagement
