Happy Chap Goh Mei

Harro earthlings, sorry for the lack of updates. I've been really busy with Uni stuffs plus I don't really have anything to update actually (which explains the death of my blog)

So today marks the end of the Chinese New Year! Time flies, IKR ): I'm looking forward for next year CNY alrdy HAHA Fyi, the fifteenth day of CNY is celebrated as Yuánxiāojié (元宵节), Lantern Festival, or otherwise known as Chap Goh Mei which literally "the fifteen night" in Hokkien dialect. Today is celebrated by individuals seeking for a love partner, a different version of Valentine's Day  or so called Chinese Valentine's Day. Normally, single women would write their contact number on mandarin oranges and throw it in a river or a lake while single men would collect them and eat the oranges. I wonder if there are still people practising this tradition HAHA

Overall, my CNY is totally awesome possum with:

#1. scrumptious dinner almost every night
#2. Supper with the family :D
#3. fattening CNY goodies YAY
#4. extended self declared hols back at home sweet home
#5. the very annoying much Megan's bugging around
#5. unexpected fortune keeps coming in!

and #6. numerous gatherings with family, friends and bloggers too! It has been a really good month so far minus the mountains high assignments part, I'm contented and lovin' it. I'll be back in a jiffy, I promise!

I'll be performing at the MUCCLS 2011 Promenade tomorrow night, wish me luck to not forget my dance steps, that's all I'm asking for. I'm nervous and excited at the same time, I can even feel the butterflies in my out of shape tummy alrdy LOL

P.S. I might be getting my 3rd baby by this weekend, hopefully! It's gonna be another awesome weekend woohoo

Till then, xx.
