#supermoon ☾

Apparently this topic is trending on twitter and everyone seems to talk about it! I went to have a look at it and was actually fascinated by it for a sec. Quickly took my baby G12 and start snapping away but I was having a tough time figuring which mode to use;

#1. ☾Bright and round!

#2. The boyf wanting to be Gru from Despicable Me LOL

#3. Settling with AV mode & this is what I got (Y)

#4. Talking to the Moon, trying to get to you ♪♫

#5. Failed jump shot -__- and ended up looking like a ghost FML

Minutes later, the dark clouds started to roll in and cover up the moon sheesh so the boyf and I started camwhoring *pardon us* I'm lucky that I don't need to try to get him and hope that he is talking to me too on the other side :P Yet I'm not really a person who find looking at the moon with my loved one is something romantic HAHA

As a noob to the world of astrology, I went to google what's supermoon after that and of course Uncle Wiki comes to the rescue as always. It's a phenomena that occurs once in a blue moon where the moon will appear close to the earth and today is one of the date they predicted there will be #supermoon. According to another source; On Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, the moon will arrive at its closest point to the Earth in 2011:  a distance of 221,565 miles (356,575 kilometers) away. And only 50 minutes earlier, the moon will officially be full. So it seems that Saturday night's #supermoon will actually be just a little less super than the full moon of Dec 2008. Some source even states that this happens only once in 20 years but Uncle Wiki said it happens 4-6 times annually. Scratch that, no one is going to read this anyway.

I still don't get it, so it was a #supermoon! Just that it's a less super hmmm any astrologist here is willing to clear my doubt? & fret not this #supermoon won't cause any tsunami or earthquake — Malaysian Meteorological Department.
